The LA County DHS Clinical Care Library houses the most up to date information on DHS-wide clinical practices.  The resources contained within have been vetted and approved by the pertinent DHS provider work groups and committees.  Hence, these documents represent practices that can be expected of DHS clinical providers.  On the other hand, DHS recognizes that in individual situations practice may need to vary, and in such cases there will be value in documenting changes from expected practice.

Expected Practices and other documents are organized by specialty category.  We ask our providers and their staff to become familiar with these Expected Practices to ensure that our patients are provided the most consistent and effective care.
