DHS established the Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) in June 2011 to restructure
DHS ambulatory and managed care services in preparation for the implementation
of healthcare reform in 2014. ACN includes all freestanding DHS outpatient clinics
(Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Centers, Comprehensive Health Centers, and
Health Centers), the Community Partners program, the Division of Managed Care,
and the Division of Research and Innovation (formerly Clinical Resource
Management).
