The DHS Communications Office is dedicated to informing the news media and the general public about news and services of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, and assisting reporters and news organizations with information gathering and requests for interviews. You can contact us between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
We strive to meet reporters' deadlines and provide timely response to reasonable information requests. Through our three teaching hospitals and academic partnerships with the University of California and the University of Southern California, we regularly connect reporters with a wide range of physician experts.

If you are a production company or filmmaker seeking a filming location, please be aware that DHS hospitals and health facilities are very busy public institutions with limited space and staffing resources.
